This intensive one-day course is aimed at those looking to enter the badminton refereeing pathway and achieve a National Accredited referee qualification. The course combines theory, best practice, and practical considerations relevant to the Badminton WA context. Prerequisites for a referee qualification: having passed the National Accredited Umpire theory exam. Previous exposure to organising badminton competitions is a significant advantage.

Pre-course reading / self-paced learning: approx. 10-15 hrs (depending on prior knowledge and experience); details will be forwarded to attendees after registration.
